Complimenting Others | Social Skills Story & Activities

  • $3.50

SOCIAL STORIES are a great way to teach important skills to children who are struggling to understand a particular social concept.

Social stories use clear, concise language to break down information into small, explicit steps that help children understand what they should or should not do in a given situation.

This is a social story and activity for how and why to give someone a COMPLIMENT. This is a great story to read through with someone who is challenged in the area of PERSPECTIVE TAKING or any social challenges as well as SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL challenges. This story and activity also works well with typically developing children who can benefit from learning about complimenting others.

The story and activity work well with individual children or with a whole class. The activity is fun to do during a class meeting time.

As with all of my products, I am more than happy to modify this story for you. Perhaps you would like a child's name in the story, or a photo, the name of the child's school, or teacher? Just contact me and let me know what you would like!
