Emotions Activities

Being able to identify yours and other's emotions is a very important social skill. This social skill will greatly help children with their perspective taking skills as well as improving thier own social emotional health.

Some children struggle to identify their and or other's emotions. They struggle to understand how to react and the range of emotions one may feel. These children benefit from explicit teaching and repeated practice to better understand these concepts.

These activities were created to help children identify a wide range of emotions. They help children to think about what might make them or others feel these feelings and how to match their emotions to the situation.
