Social Story: I Can Be Friendly, To Everyone

This story does not suggest that you have to be FRIENDS with everyone, just that you need to be FRIENDLY to everyone.

This social story can help the child who has trouble being friendly (kind, polite, respectful) to children who they do not necessarily like. We do not have to be "Friends" with everyone around us, but we do need to be "Friendly" with people that we share space and time with.

The story talks about the need to be friendly and the difference between a friend and being friendly.

Social Story: I Can STOP Teasing!

This social story can help boys and girls, k-2nd grade or ability, better understand How and WHY they should STOP teasing others.

This is a great story to read to the child who is teasing others and does not understand why it is upsetting them. It can also be very helpful to read to entire class to help prevent teasing early in the school year or any time it seems necessary.

Social Story: I Can Be The Boss Of Me!

This social story can help boys and girls, k-2nd grade or ability, better understand that they can be the boss of themselves, i.e. make some of their own decisions and choices, but the should not tell others what to do.

This is a great story to read to the child who is bossy towards other children, always telling them what to play, what to like, where to sit, etc. etc. This makes other children very upset and can make it difficult for the child to make and keep friends.

The story helps the child advocate for him/herself while reminding them not to be bossy to others.
